As our congregation grows, the noise level in the sanctuary naturally rises.
May we be sensitiveto the worship experience of those around us by quieting ourselves once the service begins.

The scripture reading for November 30th will be Psalm 80. Rev. Ryan Johnson will be preaching, “Advent-Speak.”

The whole family is welcome to join us as we sing, discuss and hear the story of a favorite carol; “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.” A special kids’ craft is planned, and the adults will join in discussion about the lyrics. We will meet this Sunday, November 30th, at 9 a.m. in the Nina Larson Ministry House (directly south of the church). We will meet to sing a carol every Sunday until Christmas.

An advent devotional is available to help you celebrate the season. You can download it here, or look for the flier in the back of the sanctuary.

Partner with Sojourner Covenant Church in Evanston by volunteering at “Café Sojourner,” a weekly homeless warming shelter at the church on Friday afternoons from 12:30-3 p.m. or 3-5:30 p.m. For more information contact the church office at (847) 864-0365 or email Carrie McClain at cmcclain@northpark.edu.

Offering envelopes for the Watchcare Fund will be in the bulletin next Sunday. Please prayerfully consider what you may give as a gift to help people in and around our church with emergency funds.
