In the midst of economic confusion, what does it mean to be good stewards of our financial resources? Jonathan Hancock will be leading us as we explore God’s call to stewardship for the next three weeks. Join us this Sunday at 9 a.m. in the Nina Larson Ministry House (directly south of the church).

If you are currently or are interested in working with children or youth at Grace (including in the Karen ministry), you need to complete a Child Safety Policy training. One is scheduled for November 9th after the service in the K-1st grade room.

Join us as we welcome a Muslim delegation from the Philippines in a roundtable discussion on Faith and Social Justice (Monday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the church). Coffee will be provided. Desserts welcome!

As our congregation grows, the noise level in the sanctuary naturally rises. May we be sensitive to the worship experience of those around us by quieting ourselves once the service begins.

Come on the morning of Saturday, November 8th from 9 a.m. to noon in the basement of the church as we explore our relationship with God as families. Childcare will be provided.

Saturday, November 8th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. make your way to Covenant Village of Northbrook. There will be a raffle with drawings for prizes, coffee, and Swedish pastries. They will be selling antiques, jewelry, needle work, baked goods, Christmas decorations and much more!

The scripture reading for October 19th will be Ephesians 3:1-13. Rev. Amanda Olson will be preaching, “Receive and Reveal.”

This Sunday during announcements we will receive a special offering that will support members of Iglesia Del Pacto Grace” who were devastated by last month’s flooding. In addition to your gifts, the Council voted on Tuesday to give $1,000 out of the church’s general fund toward this effort.
