We welcome Dr. Klyne Snodgrass to our pulpit this Sunday, November 7. He will preach on the parables. Dr. Snodgrass is the Paul W. Brandel Professor of New Testament Studies at Nort Park Theological Seminary and author of “Stories with Intent, A Comprehensive Guide to the Parables of Jesus.” The book was awarded the Biblical studies book of the year award by Christianity Today magazine.
The Scripture reading for Sunday, October 31 will be Matthew 13: 24-30, 36-43. Pastor Amanda Olson will be preaching a message entitled, “The opposition.”
The scripture reading for Sunday, October 17 will be Matthew 18:1-9. Amanda Olson will be preaching a message titled “Greatness is humility.”
The scripture reading for Sunday, October 10 will be Colossians 1:15-20. Amanda Olson will be preaching a message titled “The Leader”.
The scripture reading for Sunday, October 3 will be Mark 1:14-34. Amanda Olson will be preaching a message titled “God’s Great Movement”.
We are part of something great. It’s a movement of God. It brings justice and joy, deliverance and peace. It’s called the Kingdom of God. Join us in worship during October and November as we learn about God’s kingdom from Jesus and take up its cause.
