SUMMER MISSIONS PROJECT
August 11, 2009The kids in Sunday school at Grace are hoping you will join them in helping
kids have school supplies for the coming year. If you are a parent, help
your kids engage with this mission opportunity by collecting change, picking
out extra supplies as you shop these next few months, and encouraging them
to save. If you are not a parent, consider helping as well. There are two
ways to help:
Locally: Irving Park Community Food Pantry
Five hundred kids will be flowing through the doors of the Irving Park Food
Pantry in need of supplies as they head back to school this fall. Let’s
help! Bring new school supplies to church to help neighborhood kids. Here’s
what is needed:
Loose leaf notebook paper
Spiral notebooks
2-pocket folders
Black or blue pens
24-count crayons
12-count colored pencils
Glue and glue sticks
Regular #2 pencils
Erasers
Rulers, marked in inches and centimeters
