Congregational Meeting-May 20

A congregational meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, May 20th immediately following the Sunday morning worship service.  Childcare will be provided.

Below is the letter from our church chair:

To the Grace Family:

There will be a brief, encouraging congregational business meeting in the sanctuary on Sunday, May 20, 2010, beginning a few minutes after the end of the morning worship service.

While there are other items on the agenda, the primary purpose for the meeting will be for the council to submit to the congregation the applications of a number of individuals who are currently seeking membership in our church. Current members, at the meeting, will take action on possible church membership for the applicants. There will also be an update on and an opportunity to discuss our financial status and the shape of our life and ministry.

Those added to the membership at the business meeting will be ceremonially and joyfully received as new members during the regular worship service on June 3, 2012.

Please continue to be in prayer, in anticipation of what the Lord is doing in our midst.
