A CSaP renewal is required for all children and youth workers every two years. If you have not taken your first class within the last year, please come to one of the short renewal trainings. The first will be after worship on Sunday, February 21st. The second will be before worship at 9am on Sunday, February 28th. Questions? Contact Pastor Ryan.

Next Sunday, Feb. 14, we will have a “Hot Potato lunch” in the fellowship room downstairs. The church will provide hot baked potatoes, butter, cookies, lemonade and coffee. Will you please bring toppings? Suggestions are listed below, but feel free to think out of the box. Here are a few suggestions: sour cream, shredded cheese, marinara, salsa, chili, green onions, broccoli, bacon bits (or turkey bacon bits or baco bits), guacamole. See you there!

Last year’s financial secretary, Mary Jane Dawson, has been handing out the 2009 Tax Receipts. She will continue to do so on Sunday Feb. 7. If you would like yours sent instead, please contact Mary Jane Dawson.

On Sunday, February 7, 2010 Justice with Grace is planning to meet between the English Grace and Iglesia services from 11:45 am-12:45 pm. At this meeting we will discuss some new information and resources for looking at the the issue of immigration, and learn about some positive developments in the “fed at Grace” emergency food distribution program. There will be a silent auction and book sale hosted by the 4th-6th grades to help send students to Winterfest on February 7th before and after the service. We ask you to bring any books you would like to donate (and a suggested price) to the church Sunday, January 31st or before the service on February 7th. The silent auction will consist of the 4th-6th grade items, art, and services. The auction and book sale will be going on 9:30-10:00am and after the serivce on February 7th.
