Congregational Care and Connection works to create authentic Christian community that mutually cares for one another in Jesus’ name. Through social events, the team offers hospitality for people in our congregation to get to know one another better. Then, when the stresses of life happen, we’re here to help. No strings. No judgment. Just friendship, prayers and love from its original source – the Triune God.
- prayer – as a church, we aren’t just any community, we are a praying community, so there’s lots of ways to receive and give prayer. Each sunday, our worship includes a pastoral prayer, the Lord’s Prayer, and a prayer corner in the back of the sanctuary where a prayer team member is stationed to pray with anyone who comes. Throughout the week, we pray for one another through an emailed prayer update that is sent to congregants committed to pray for requests. If you have a prayer request, email email@example.com.
- spiritual care – for those desiring deeper spiritual care, our pastor is available for limited pastoral counseling. For longer term work, we can refer you to a spiritual director who will meet one-on-one to help discern God’s movement in your life. For more information on spiritual care, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Watchcare Fund -Offering envelopes for the Watchcare Fund are available on the fellowship tables on the first Sunday of each month. Funds collected are used to help people in and around our church with emergency funds.
